dead air is a single-player game that teaches morse code. This policy covers the dead air apps for iOS, Android, and desktop.
Nothing. dead air has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no ads, and no third-party SDKs that phone home.
Everything the game remembers stays on your device, in three files it writes itself:
There is no cloud copy and no account to sign into. Deleting the app deletes all of it. We have no way to see any of it, and no way to restore it.
The game makes no network connections at all. It does not check for updates, fetch content, or contact us. The only links in it are in the credits screen, and those open in your browser when you tap them.
If you play a build distributed through Steam, Apple Game Center, or Google Play Games, unlocking an achievement tells that platform you unlocked it, so it can show up on your profile there. That is the platform’s feature, under its own privacy policy, and it is the only thing any build ever sends anywhere. The list of achievements you have earned is still kept on your device as well, and the game works normally whether or not you are signed in.
Builds distributed outside those platforms send nothing.
We hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to share or sell.
Same answer: no data is collected from anyone, kids included.
Updates to this policy are published at this URL and noted in the app’s release notes.
